The masters are notorious for never changing their prices for things inside the gates but to get a ticket to get inside is literally thousands to tens of thousands. So congrats

I was seriously considering a trip to watch the the Masters next year but now that I know they don't offer a Reuben sandwich at the concession stand I'm not going to bother.

Okay I went in 2018 (won tickets thru the masters lottery, Friday tickets and practice rounds) I went to the clubhouse/ gift shop and spent 600$ i got 2 shirts, 2 jackets(water proof green) 3 hats, a back pack, lanyard, 2 seats and a long sleeve... pretty reasonable prices... now for beer/ food I spent 40, for the day and I got wasted... everyone should put there names in for the raffle it’s unreal

Despite some of the comments on here...there's definitely value for money to he had once through the gates, especially when compared to other marquee sporting events.

Think it was Lee Trevino who called it " a springtime garden party for invitees" spot on I reckon... pretty enough if a Tad false... & certainly not a true MAJOR.... I Think Larry Mize still gets a spot... Nah not for me see you at PORTHRUSH.⛳⛳⛳💉

I actually question the notion of "majors" entirely, but there's not getting away from The Masters being a special tournament. Top 50 in the world aren't invitees...they've earned their way in.

            Tim  4 months back

Its cheap because you are paying $2500 for a day pass!!! You have to be stupid to not figure out that logic!!! Its a very clever trick!!!!

            • Your Golf Travel
Your Golf Travel   1 months back

@Tim The Masters don't control the price of the tickets in any way, shape or form. So the fact that they still seel the merch and F&B for so little compared to other premiere sporting events just shows that they value the viewing experience more than other events. Not that I'm stupid.

The pricing for the trip is just mental, what would it cost a guy from the US to visit the Open for all 4 days? With flights and hotel let’s say £2k? Where’s the £10k come from for this?

            • Thomanson
              Thomanson  4 months back

There's a scarcity issue on patron's passes. They can be had for $75 or $115, but only if you're insanely lucky. Demand overstrips Supply by quite a bit.

            • Your Golf Travel
