Electric motors maintenance free? Lemme tell you a thing. That's not true. The circuit in an electric motor tend to break often. Also where are you gonna refill it when it's empty? Well in my country you can only charge them at home.

You did this video and didn't mention the Rotax twin of the Gen 1 and 2 Aprilias? You used a Harley to as an example of a twin sound leaving out Suzuki's, Aprilia's or Ducati's notes?? To boot you said the twin is not as powerful as the i4???

Suzuki did a line of triples back in the day the gt380 another and then the gt750 (waterbucket) all 2stroke cool motors but the 3 sets of points not fun and have a plastic drive gear which strips snd goodbye spark

An electric bike makes just as much sound driving as a silent gold wing. Dont call it stealty. It has alot of el power sound.

Love the video but electric motors ultimately burn more energy from the power station that's polluting, providing the electricity. Keep it gas! Much more fun.

You can also add the BMW 6 cylinders in line of the K 1600 GT which is an excellent and very modern 6 cylinders within the motorcycles world.

You can, but there's really no point in adding complexity to a motorcycle. Also having multiple gears is less efficient in terms of acceleration.

If it was just down to the motor , electric would have beaten internal combustion engines decades ago in all applications.
Electric motors are the ideal way of getting rotary motion over a very wide rev range with amazing torque.
But it's the power source that lets electric motors down. Batteries have no where near the energy density of petrol, gas or diesil, are slow to recharge, have a limited amount of cycles they can be recharged, are heavy and expensive.
So if you can easily connect you're electric motor to the electricity grid, say like trains can, then internal combustion engines are no competition.

But I'll miss the sound of internal combustion , if and when the battery issues are solved. Yes there is hydrogen fuel cell ways of generating electricity, but that has a lot of issues too.

Electric bikes are not better for the enviroment bc it pollutes more to fabricate the batteries than it does if you run on gas.
Over time the batteries have to be changed out so they fabricate new ones=more pollution.
The normal Tesla battery fabrication pollutes as much on average as a car does in 9 years.
Tesla recommends that you change your battery every 3rd year even if you're not using your Tesla.
So if you follow Tesla recommendations as most Tesla owners do then your Tesla pollutes 3 times as much as the average car.
