You should reach out to Shane Dawson, not because there anything wrong with his body but with his own body image. Imagine if he got the opportunity to learn how to work out and use his body for weight lifting and function instead of just focus on how it looks.

At 330lbs, with a 6 week program, your weight would MELT off... like not ALL the weight obviously but.... definitelyyyyy more than 5 lbs... But like she's said during this whole thing, she didn't really care much... Which it kind of showed with her final measurement results.

Ugh. I was waiting for someone to say something negative about this not being ‘body positive’ etc. after seeing the ‘diet’ from the nutritionist. The point is to love yourself, no matter what, and try to be the best ‘you’. Being ‘healthy’ at any size is super important for you both mentally and physically ✌️💗 🌈 😎

Body Positivity is also about respecting your body and respecting its needs to move and eat real, clean, nutritious food. Body positivity is not about sitting on your butt and eating garbage. Love yourself. Love your body. Love it mindfully, mind what do you do to it.

I know the focus wasn't on her losing weight and she specifically didn't want to know the numbers, but how did she lose just 5 pounds? Even an average person can lose 2 pounds a week with this kind of workout and food regimen. I'm just curious. Was it something in the diet that didn't work for her?

You honestly can’t say you’re “body positive” when you’re sitting on your couch eating junk. I understand if you do it occasionally here and there because I do too, it’s nice to treat yourself. But not everyday or often. Body positive means eating the right foods to keep your body healthy and functioning well. Staying active, possibly even working out to keep your body strong, not just to be a victoria secret angel. I honestly don’t understand why people would hate on here because she wants to be healthier.

I’ve been a pretty skinny and weak person all my life. I’ve been working hard all summer to try to gain muscle. I’m nowhere near where I want to be but I’m getting there. I love watching your transformation videos, they give me tons of inspiration.

I needed to watch this. I'm going to the gym and I been trying so hard not to think about losing weight just being body positive.

I can't understand how anyone would accuse Jazzmyne of not being body positive. It seems like unfortunately some plus sized women don't feel great about themselves and their health choices, so they want others to stay stagnant. Lat's all progress together!

The point of being body positive is that our worth isn't derived from a number, either the one on the scale or the one of the tags of our clothes. If doing positive things that improve your life makes your body shape change, that's okay because, again, your worth isn't based on those numbers!

I understand why one would want to step away from the superficial aspects of losing weight and dieting, it does, at times, can be belittling. But body positive for me is loving me enough to do what best foe me! and that being as healthy as possible physically and mentally. I have that she was bashed for whats she's doing.

I think both 'sides' can really miss what body positivity is, this comment section too. Body positivity is not a refusal to become healthier. But saying 'the real body positivity is taking care of your body to be healthier!', is JUST as false. Body positivity is not about being healthy or not being healthy. It's about striving to be healthier to be SEPARATE from the looks of your body. It's about feeling yourself and taking care of your appearance at every size. It's about accepting that sometimes you drop the ball and you can still be sexy. Being healthy is a part of life that we all strive to be better in, even stick thin people. But life happens, and for some people it is just not attainable to be healthy. And even then we can love ourselves and find ourselves desirable. Health is just a non issue, health isn't for everyone but feeling okay about yourself should still be. And some people who are super fit feel horrible about their body because they still lean more to 'fat' even though they hit the gym everyday and need body positivy, but it's not the only way to be body positive. You don't know someones story and in our own way, we ALL try.
